From June 28 to 29 and July 5 to 6, 2022, the first course of the second group leader training, production preparation, arrived as scheduled. More than 60 workshop directors, team leaders, team backup management personnel and technical school students participated in the training in two batches.
At the beginning of the meeting, Miao Jizhong, deputy manager of the manufacturing department, introduced the meeting process, venue discipline, scoring instructions, etc. of the training. Different from the previous "cramming" teaching, he stressed that the training "learns through practice and practices through learning", and truly achieves the goal of "learning what you are good at and using what you are good at".
Subsequently, the trainees will select a representative from each group as a unit to sort out and introduce the production preparation process of the previous day. The workshop director will be the lecturer to make in-depth comments on them and point out the improvement points in the process.
Then, the directors of each workshop introduced in detail the matters needing attention in the production preparation process from the aspects of human, machine, material and method according to the characteristics of each workshop. Through the explanation, we understand that the production preparation is not the responsibility of the team leader alone, but needs to be jointly completed under the unified coordination of the team leader and the participation of team members, so as to shorten the preparation time and improve the efficiency.
With the first day's learning experience, in the second day's training, the team leaders sorted out their production preparation processes and actively shared them with everyone. The wonderful and in-depth comments of the directors won the nod of praise. After the comments were finished, the directors said that the quality of the statements made by the teams on the second day was significantly improved compared with the first day.
Finally, Miao Jizhong concluded that production preparation is a very big task, which requires our team leader to continuously enrich the human, machine, material and method links and corresponding countermeasures according to the actual situation, so as to plan in advance, respond in advance and prevent recurrence. In this way, the preparation time is shortened and the management level of the team leader is also improved.
